About The Role

As a engineer on the Self-Service Experience team you will build new features within Remitly app that help customers resolve common issues. You will contribute to Remitly's virtual assistant as well as help center within the app. You will report directly to the Engineering Manager, based in Seattle

You Will

  • Build backend services in Go on AWS, and frontend features in TypeScript and React
  • Deliver end to end complex projects and product features, with high autonomy and quality
  • Partner with product managers and engineers across teams to help achieve product and business goals

You Have

  • 2 or more years of experience developing fullstack applications - preferably using React-native and Go or TypeScript.
  • Understanding of basic web development concepts, such as RESTful APIs, HTTP protocol, and database management.
  • Knowledge of software development principles, including version control, testing, and debugging.

Compensation Details. The starting base salary range for this position is $112,000-$140,000. In Canada, Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
