Billing Analyst

The Billing Analyst is responsible for the timely and accurate running of various billing cycles, solving billing related issues, and responding to customer queries related to billing. This position is also responsible for uploading invoices into online customer portals and coordinating with AR to follow up with customers regarding payment status.

Key Responsibilities:
- Run required billing cycles for Solid Canadian districts
- Monitor company billing system for proper account set-up and activity flow
- Monitor customer accounts for irregularities
- Research and resolve billing discrepancies
- Monitor and support billing adjustment requirements
- Respond to customer questions and requests
- Prepare and execute invoice adjustments
- Emailing and Print/Mailing of invoices
- Compiling required documentation during billing processes required for audit
- Portal Invoicing (entry and follow-up)
- Contact customers and update account info as needed
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required
- Previous billing experience considered an asset
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Team player with positive attitude who takes initiative and has a strong work ethic
- Ability to work well under pressure, multi-task and meet deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written as well as verbal) with the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization in a professional, competent manner
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently and independently
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Computer literacy, including effective working skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- TRUX Route Management experience considered an asset
- Experience in the waste industry considered an asset
- Enrolled in or Completed a Post-Secondary Degree or Diploma – Accounting/Finance or related discipline is preferred but not required
- Primarily in an office environment in Edmonton
- Limited travel may be required
- Ability to attend and conduct presentations
