Co-op Student

This role is to provide students with an introduction to the work environment as a part of their degree program. Incumbents will support department/functional areas that are highly regulated and follow strict legislative guidelines. Incumbents will provide assistance with day-to-day tasks as appointed by their manager. Coops will participate in team meetings, project work and support the implementation of operational solutions and any other adhoc requests as required by the department.

Required Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

Currently enrolled in a Bachelors degree program with a co-op component.Computer literacy and proficiency:

Microsoft Excel - Basic

Microsoft Word - Standard

Microsoft Power-point - Standard

Microsoft Outlook - Standard

Internet Proficiency (preferred)

Strong problem solving, organizational and time management skills required, preferred skills include interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills required.
