What You’ll Do :

The Project Manager, Corporate Shared Services will play a key role in our Corporate Project Management Team and will be responsible for managing various projects across the business including initiatives led by our Corporate Shared Services departments as well as in service to Commercial Leadership across Canada and the US for strategic growth. This role will report to Senior Manager, Project Management & Strategic Initiatives .

Location : Hybrid based out of our Vancouver, BC office or Halton Hills, ON office . P reference will be given to candidates based out of the Vancouver, BC office .

Key Responsibilities :

At a high level you will

  • Driv e the management and delivery of complex, multi-workstream, and cross-functional projects
  • Lead successful delivery of assigned projects, overseeing project schedule, scope, budgets, resources and quality
  • Driv e improvements in the way we work to maximize productivity, efficiency, consistency and effectiveness of our project processes and workflows
  • Collaborat e with fellow Project Managers to develop, implement and continuously improve project management processes, plans, tools, methodologies and templates
  • Develop risk monitoring and mitigation strategies for project and program management
  • Assist with change management including identifying applicable stakeholder groups, developing change management strategies and managing communication plans
  • Onboard project team members into initiatives including training on processes, tools and standards of performance
  • Establish and clearly communicat e responsibilities and accountabilities of the involved individuals
  • Work closely with management and leadership across the business for strategic planning and forecasting of projects
  • Act as a coach to internal stakeholders for best practices in project management, including junior staff and aspirational project managers within the business
  • Build and maintai n relationships with key partners across the organization .

Who You Are:

We would love to hear from you if you have:

  • 5+ years Project Management experience ideally with a manufacturing and distribution company
  • PMP designation preferred
  • CPA, CFA or CBV considered an asset
  • Strong presentation , facilitation and communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Able to balance and right-size efforts across multiple priorities
  • Experience with Microsoft suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint , Teams)
  • Experience with Project Management tools such as Smartsheet or Microsoft Project
  • Experience in acquisitions considered an asset
  • Able to travel up to 15%, primarily in Canada and US

In adherence to the principle of pay transparency, we are pleased to disclose the base pay for this full-time position at Metrie. The base pay range for this role is set at CAD $100,000.00−$114,000.00. It is important to note that this position may also qualify for discretionary bonuses or commission payments. The specific base pay within the range will be contingent upon an individual's skills, qualifications, experience, and geographical location. Furthermore, it is essential to highlight that our remuneration ranges are established based on the role, level, and location. Please note that the actual pay may vary and can be higher or lower than the posted range based on these factors.
