People Corporation is seeking a Manager, Employee Communications to join our team!
The Manager, Employee Communications plays an integral role in the employee experience at People Corporation. The manager has overall responsibility for developing and executing internal communication strategies, through clear, consistent, and compelling messaging that informs, connects employees to People Corporations strategy, values, and enterprise programs.
This key role is responsible for the creation, development, governance, distribution and monitoring of all internal communications, resources, and vendor relationships.
This is an exciting opportunity to build a best-in-class employee communications function, whilst acting as a communication advisor to stakeholders. You will possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills, you will be an exceptional storyteller, and be able to leverage tried and tested, and creative communication content and distribution channels.

The Manager, Employee Communications will:
- Create internal communications strategy, plans, systems, and processes for internal people programs.
- Create key messages for campaigns via multi-communication channels that provide compelling messages and clear content for diverse audiences.
- Manage and update all internal communications channels and platforms in a timely manner.
- Design and develop creative visual and written content for multiple initiatives and ensure they are delivered on time with efficient and effective approvals.
- Write, edit, and distribute employee-facing communications for a variety of channels, including infographics, email, newsletters and more.
- Align stakeholders and subject matter experts to ensure consistent and clear communications are being released.
- Partner with key stakeholders within HR and beyond to craft compelling messaging that aligns with objectives.
- Work with other internal communications teams (e.g., marcom) to ensure consistency with branding and messaging when developing content, as well as the alignment on the timing of communications release across the enterprise.
- Design and run ideation sessions with key stakeholders to create visual and traditional content
- Design and implement governance that guides and ensures the quality of communication content delivered meets best practice guidelines.
- Partner with key areas of the business to align on governance of communication platforms to ensure consistency and effectiveness.
- Develop, distribute, and analyze qualitative and quantitative data to measure the effectiveness of communications efforts.
- Keep current on emerging Communication trends.
- Undergraduate degree or relevant professional certification, or equivalent required.
- 7+ years of relevant work experience in communications with demonstrated success managing internal communications.
- Superior written and verbal communication.
- Ability to work to a high standard in a fast-paced environment, whilst managing multiple stakeholders at all levels.
- Advanced knowledge of technology and digital platforms to create, manage, and distribute content.
- Experience developing strategic and operational communications and working in collaboration with communications teams to provide effective communications through a variety of mediums.
- Able to accomplish and complete tasks while demonstrating strong attention to detail and organization.
- Insurance industry experience.
- Bilingual in French and English.
