Agilus is recruiting for a Lead Mechanical Engineer in the oil & gas industry in Sarnia, Ontario.



The Lead Mechanical Engineer will oversee the mechanical engineering aspects of projects within the oil & gas and energy industries. This individual will be responsible for leading the mechanical engineering team, ensuring technical excellence, and driving efficient project execution

  • s.Collaborate with project managers, procurement teams, and construction teams to align engineering deliverables with project schedules and budget
  • s.Ensure all mechanical engineering work complies with relevant codes, standards (e.g., ASME, API, TEMA), and client requirement
  • s.Conduct quality reviews of mechanical engineering deliverables to ensure accuracy and consistenc
  • y.Lead and mentor the mechanical engineering team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environmen
  • t.Oversee the mechanical design of pressure vessels, piping systems, heat exchangers, and related equipmen

  • ty.Proficiency in engineering design software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, PV Elite, Compress or similar tool
