Job Description

As an intern in Equity Research, you will work with an equity analyst and associate on daily company and industry research reports. Responsibilities include:

  • Work closely with an analyst and associate to develop research products
  • Assist in preparing research reports and marketing packages
  • Prepare financial models to forecast earnings
  • Compile and evaluate company and industry data
  • Assist in developing valuation tools

Job Requirements

  • Current enrollment in a relevant post-secondary program
  • Ability to work independently under deadlines with attention to detail
  • Strong work ethic and initiative
  • Superior business writing and presentation skills
  • Excellent spreadsheet and financial analysis skills
  • Demonstrated interest in capital markets
  • Flexible with hours as needed by business
  • Experience analyzing financial services companies is an asset
  • Experience in research roles or capital markets is beneficial
