Duties and Responsibilities:

As a Turf Care Technician, you will work under the Superintendent & Assistant Superintendent, preparing the golf course to the highest standard, showcasing a genuine passion for delivering great golfing experiences. You will work outside in all weather conditions, emphasizing safety, teamwork, and respect for colleagues, guests, and the environment.

• Operate ride-on mowers for greens, tees, approaches, fairways, and rough.
• Use utility vehicles and small engine equipment (string trimmers, backpack blowers).
• Maintain bunkers, rake/shovel sand, trim bunker faces.
• Set the course for play by removing debris, repairing divots, cutting new pins, placing tee markers, ensuring playable surfaces.
• Maintain and landscape the resort grounds.
• Check fuel and fluid levels of equipment daily and report issues immediately.
• Record all daily activities using our electronic job board program.
• Ensure quality and attention to detail in all work performed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Must have a Driver's License.
• No experience necessary; willingness to learn required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally, 30 lbs frequently, and 20 lbs constantly.
• Capable of operating machinery and equipment.
• Flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends, and some holidays.
• Demonstrate professional radio etiquette.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Follow all Health and Safety procedures.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
• Legally able to work in Canada; no working visas provided.

Salary: $17.40 per hour - negotiable with experience.

Contract length: 9 months; starts as early as March, ends early November. Full and part-time seasonal positions available.
