As a Director, Pharmacy Operations, Newfoundland and a part of Nova Scotia, you will oversee the operations of Pharmacies in your respective region. Your role is to coach, develop and train pharmacy teams and actively drive the success of the pharmacy while ensuring a safe and effective pharmacy practice that provides exceptional patient care.

What you’ll do:
- Monitor and review weekly projections and store labour management process with Pharmacy Manager to ensure proper allocation of hours and task management
- Execute business initiatives and ensure Pharmacies are equipped and prepared to implement, identifying any gaps and reporting back to the program administrator
- Build relationships and partner with stakeholders, such as District Managers and Store Managers/Franchisees, to ensure appropriate knowledge and understanding of business initiatives and important pharmacy items
- Work closely with the Store Manager/Franchisee/Labour Relations partner when dealing with disciplinary matters or other matters related to unionized colleagues, leveraging Pharmacy Manager to partner with counterparts as appropriate
- Promote and support the execution of Patient Care Services and follow-up on medication incidents
- Investigate, understand, review and identify critical financial metrics such as labour, inventory, growth opportunities, etc.
- Maintain budget shrink initiatives, manage returns and credits to suppliers, transmittals, inventory, third party and detailed follow-up of dispensary operations
- Ensure compliance with provincial and federal pharmacy regulations as well as standard operating procedures and policies
- Strive for continuous improvement in sales and script growth and maintain a thorough understanding of the competitive landscape
- Bachelor of Science, Pharmacy or PharmD
- Management related experience
- Solid understanding of Pharmacy landscape and retail industry
- Operational experience, preferably in multi locations
- Strong leadership, coaching and mentoring skills required
- Regular travel is required, might requiring overnight stays
