You Are:

As a highly-skilled Design Automation Engineer, you possess a robust background in physical design, scripting automation solutions, and software development. You are adept at gathering requirements and developing solutions for complex design flows. You excel in scripting, particularly with Python or PERL, and can navigate and debug complex legacy code with ease. Your expertise spans across developing and maintaining scripts and flows for design efficiency and productivty, making you an invaluable asset to any engineering team. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for innovation, you thrive in dynamic environments where your problem-solving skills can shine.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Applying scripting, design automation, and software engineering methods to create flows & solve technical problems.
  • Navigating entire software development life-cycle from gathering initial requirements to the releasing the fully-developed scripts/software to chip design teams.
  • Writing scripts in Python, Perl, TCL, and UNIX Shell to automate and enhance CAD processes.
  • Utilizing Git & Perforce revision control systems for development and collaboration.

What You’ll Need:

  • MS degree in Electronic Engineering, or a similar field.
  • 5+ years of direct industry-related experience in physical design & design automation
  • Experience with Schematic, Layout, spice simulation.
  • Proficiency in running and debugging DRC, LVS, and Extraction runs.
  • Strong skills and experience with: UNIX , Python, Perl
  • Strong communication and stake-holder managements skills
