Position Overview:

NetSuite Administrator will be responsible for the performance and optimization of NetSuite modules within BFG, including but not limited to Finance, Operations, Customer (CRM), Human Capital Management, and Project Management. Working closely with cross-functional teams serving as the BFG’s expert on the NetSuite platform, this role requires a strong understanding of business operational processes, along with excellent technical, analytical and communication skills to support internal stakeholders to understand, apply and optimize the power and capabilities of NetSuite to BFG’s business requirements.

Work Location

The position is based on-site at our office in Markham, Ontario, Canada.

NetSuite Administrator Responsibilities

  • Be the primary NetSuite point of contact and subject matter expert for BFG users.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into system enhancements, customizations, and configurations.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Collaborate to understand business needs and design, configure, develop, test, and implementation solutions from both the technical and business points of NetSuite.
  • Responsible for system and user documentation, troubleshooting, data management, and user support.
  • Perform ongoing maintenance and optimization of NetSuite modules, including but not limited to financials, project management, operations, inventory, purchasing, human capital management and customer relationship management.
  • Develop and implement custom workflows, saved searches, reports, and dashboards to support business operations and improve efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, including process flows, system configurations, and user training guides.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, system errors, and performance bottlenecks.
  • Stay up to date with NetSuite enhancements and support the implementation of system upgrades and communicate updates to internal stakeholders and users.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting or Business Information Systems.
  • Experience with financial reporting and analysis is preferred.
  • Completion of NetSuite certifications (such as Suite Foundation, Administrator, ERP Consultant).
  • 5 – 7 years project management lead in implementing full cycle of NetSuite Financial, ERP, Inventory and Warehouse management, Projects, HR and payroll packages.
  • Proven subject matter expert with NetSuite ERP Application Suite modules.
  • Excellent computer skills, accounting software applications.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Ability to create documentation for processes/procedures.
  • Ability to generate periodic reports and present results/analyses to senior management.
  • Fully proficient in custom record types, fields, forms, roles and permissions, page layouts, searches and reports, and NetSuite data model.
  • Excellent technical and analytical skills with attention to detail while working under pressure and deadlines.
  • Effective and customer-oriented communications (verbal and written) with stakeholders, cross functional teams and users.
