About The Opportunity

Join us as an Infrastructure Operations Administrator, where you'll play a vital role in managing and optimizing our blockchain infrastructure assets. In this dynamic role, you'll oversee hardware inventory tracking, coordinate vendor relationships, and maintain efficient procurement processes, while generating critical utilization reports and developing streamlined workflows for cost management. Working at the intersection of IT operations and blockchain technology, you'll contribute to scaling our infrastructure while gaining unique exposure to cutting-edge decentralized networks and high-performance computing systems.

How You Will Make An Impact

• Hardware Inventory & Tracking
• Maintain an up-to-date inventory database for IT and infrastructure assets, including location, status, and lifecycle stages.
• Track where hardware is deployed to ensure balanced resource allocation.
• Maintain records of hardware orders, expected delivery dates, and installations.
• Generate regular inventory reports to ensure proper provisioning.
• Procurement & Vendor Coordination
• Oversee the ordering process for hardware and software purchases, ensuring proper documentation and approvals.
• Maintain a tracking system for deliveries, working with vendors to confirm arrival dates.
• Track and manage vendor contracts and service agreements, ensuring timely renewals.
• Ensure billing aligns with hardware and service usage, flagging discrepancies.
• Administrative & Cost Management Support
• Maintain cost tracking sheets for vendor services and infrastructure purchases.
• Provide reports to leadership on hardware utilization and procurement trends.
• Develop and improve organizational workflows for tracking and reporting.
• Document hardware lifecycle processes to ensure clarity in provisioning and decommissioning.
  

What You Bring To The Team

• Experience in IT asset management, procurement, or inventory tracking.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, or asset tracking tools to maintain accurate records.
• Ability to manage purchase orders, deliveries, and vendor coordination workflows.
• Attention to detail and strong process management skills.
• Ability to generate reports and analyze resource utilization trends.
• BS in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, OR equivalent work experience in IT asset management, procurement, or infrastructure operations.
  
  

Nice to Have

• Experience tracking and managing data center hardware or networking equipment.
• Exposure to cloud vs. on-prem infrastructure cost analysis.
• Familiarity with automation tools for asset tracking and reporting.
• Experience supporting blockchain or high-availability infrastructure operations.
• Knowledge of infrastructure monitoring tools to track hardware health and availability.

In addition to collaborating with other Engineering team members, this role will collaborate most often with our DevOps & Data Engineering teams.
