As an Instructor, your primary responsibility will be to provide top-notch academic instruction to our students. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring that each student in your class has an enjoyable, productive, challenging, and meaningful learning experience. Key Responsibilities:
- Use and implement adult education curricula and lesson plans as set out by MaKami College.
- Facilitate engaging and interactive learning experiences for diverse adult learners.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Use Moodle to evaluate, communicate and encourage student progress.
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Utilize various teaching methods and technologies to enhance learning.
- Conduct orientation sessions and advise students on course specifics.
- Collaborate with colleagues to improve instructional practices.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance and student performance.
- Participate in professional development and training opportunities.
- Communicate effectively with students, co-teachers, department head and staff.
Qualifications:
- Level 3 Government of Alberta Designation
- Diploma in Early Learning and Child Care Preferred (other education considered)
- Strong leadership and facilitation skills
- Strong instructional and Student Relations Skills
- Organizational and Instructional Skills
- Knowledge of Industry Standards and Regulations
- Adult Education experience and proficiency
Available to work: Days, Evenings, Weekends as needed
