Purpose:

We are currently recruiting a recent Graduate or Junior Professional with a background in Mechanical from an accredited Engineering program and with extensive experience in the nuclear industry to lead and execute complex projects. This is a full-time, in-office position that can be based in either Kincardine or Markham, Ontario. You will be responsible for ensuring that project deliverables are completed with quality, on time, and within budget, while upholding Worley’s standards for safety and technical excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engineering services that meet Worley’s, its customers, and applicable statutory and regulatory specifications, on time and within budget.
  • Perform Mechanical services under the supervision of a PEng, such as:
    • Contribute to appropriate studies, analyses, and recommend actions; and
    • Assist in the preparation of detailed designs and drawings, specifications, data, calculations, and reports.
  • Communicate effectively with the Mechanical Engineering team and project stakeholders, including the customer.
  • Identify issues and problems, develop appropriate solutions, and ask for assistance if required.

What you will bring:
Technical and Industry Experience:

  • May have Summer Student/ Internship experience in an engineering environment.
  • Technical and practical Mechanical Engineering skills.
  • Knowledge of the fundamental requirements of Mechanical Engineering and the basic requirements of other engineering fields.
  • Developing skills in process engineering-specific software.
  • Emerging skills in software such as MS Office Suite.
  • Experience in the Mechanical industry will be considered an asset.

Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:

  • A recognized and relevant Engineering degree or equivalent that will lead to registration as a Professional Engineer with PEO.

Required:

  • Ability to obtain a Canadian Nuclear Security Clearance.
