Security Guard - Financial Protection

We are currently seeking reliable, professional, and flexible On-Call Security Guards to join our team in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). Successful candidates will be assigned to bank locations, requiring a high level of professionalism, vigilance, and customer service. Applicants must be available a minimum of 4 days per week, with flexibility across Monday to Saturday, for Morning, Afternoon, and/or Overnight shifts. Preference will be given to candidates who are available for all shift times.

Position Overview

Wages: $ 18.00

Shift: Monday to Saturday (Morning, Afternoon, and Overnight)

Responsibilities

• Perform access control provision duties, verify visitors coming on-site.
• Escort medical staff including paramedics, police and firefighters when required.
• Respond to medical emergencies and be prepared to perform CPR and AED if needed.
• Unlock and lock doors for access by authorized persons.
• Follow security breach procedures by notifying supervisors or other appropriate personnel when security breaches occur.
• Monitor CCTV footage and cameras for irregularities and perform dispatch duties for the site including emergency response.
• Perform foot patrols inside and outside the facility.
  
  

Qualifications

• Valid Ontario Ontario Security Guard License
• Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate
• Must be available at least four days per week, Monday through Saturday, to work various shift times.
• Thorough understanding of security protocols and procedures including emergency response.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and legally entitled to work in Canada
• Professional appearance and strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and remain calm under pressure
• Prior experience in bank security or high-profile environments is an asset
• Possession of, or access to, a personal vehicle is considered an asset for this role
