The Support and Development Center provide services to Agnico Eagle's various Canadian and / or international mining operations in a variety of areas, including administration, financial services, IT, supply chain, human resources, communications, construction as well as technical services (geology, engineering, metallurgy, infrastructure, marketing, innovation, and digital transformation).

Your Next Challenge

Reporting to the Marketing Coordinator, you will be part of the Marketing Department. The department supports Agnico Eagle’s Canadian and international mining operations in revenue and metal accounting. You will monitor the inventory of concentrates and bullion, ensures compliance with sales contract terms, and performs accounting related to their sale. You will ensure that objectives are met while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, the health and safety code of conduct, and environmental standards.

  • Understand all processes related to metals accounting and revenue distribution (bullion, concentrates, and by-products);
  • Prepare all month-end reports;
  • Validate invoicing while respecting the terms of the sales contract;
  • Compile and update various statistical files for concentrates, by-products, and bullion for all divisions;
  • Understand all tasks related to the day-to-day operation of the department (data entry for invoicing, payment tracking, analysis exchanges with refineries, shipping of bullion and by-products);
  • Participate in certain special assignments.

What You Need To Succeed

  • College Diploma (DEC) in mineral processing, administration, or any other relevant training;
  • Two (2) years of experience in the mining field;
  • Proficiency in Excel;
  • Proficiency in French (oral and written);
  • Proficiency in the use of the English language (oral and written) as you will be working in collaboration with other Agnico Eagle sites where English is the primary language.

Your Work Schedule

  • Schedule: 40 hours per week, from Monday to Friday.
  • Workplace: Possibility to work in one of AEM's offices closer to your residence in Rouyn-Noranda, Preissac, Val-d'Or or Toronto. There is a possibility to have a hybrid work schedule, working some days from an AEM office and some days in telecommuting.
