Position overview:
The Corporate Finance and Accounting team is hiring a Staff Accountant. This full-time role is based at our Vancouver head office and reports to the Manager of Accounting.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the accounts payable function.
- Prepare bank and general ledger reconciliations.
- Prepare semi-monthly payroll.
- Assist with weekly reporting to senior management.
- Assist with quarterly financial statement reporting.
- Contribute to process improvements.
- Adhere to financial controls and comply with policies and procedures.
- Perform ad hoc projects as required.
- Take ownership of assigned tasks
How Much:
- Base salary commensurate with experience.
- Eligibility for Short-Term Incentive Plan (cash bonus) and Long-Term Incentive Plan (equity).
