  This course examines selected topics related to the sociology of sport and physical activity. The emphasis of the course is on understanding the construction and organization of sport in modern societies and the social and cultural influences on sport and physical activity, particularly in Canadian society
  Position Requirements 
 
  A graduate degree (Ph.D preferred) in an area appropriate for the course (i.e. Recreation, Leisure, and/or Sport Management). Courses in the subject area at a graduate or undergraduate level from an accredited post-secondary institution we would consider transfer credit from are required. Demonstrated, relevant work experience in Recreation, Leisure, and/or Sport Management and relevant work experience in online course development and/or delivery is considered an asset.
