We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Treasury Analyst to join our dynamic team in Saint John, NB. You’ll play a pivotal role in supporting the treasury operations across a diverse group of companies in various industries and locations. Banking

Role and responsibilities will include:

  • Oversee the administration of account setup/closure, signatory management, and access control under direction of the Senior Manager – Treasury.
  • Maintain bank relationships and ensure accurate transactions and processes.
  • Ensure controls and procedures are robust and regularly reviewed.
  • Facilitate domestic and international wire transfers.
  • Provide ad hoc support as needed.

Cash Flow Management

  • Monitor and report on daily cash positions for all entities.
  • Support foreign exchange transactions, including hedges.
  • Help optimize returns on cash balances and short-term investments, balancing risk and liquidity.

Credit & Payment Solutions

  • Monitor compliance and reporting for credit lines, loans, and mortgages.
  • Assist with corporate credit card and payment processing programs.
  • Contribute to treasury-related projects and process improvements.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years’ office experience in treasury, finance, accounting, or risk management.
  • Demonstrated background in treasury operations, cash management, investments, and/or financial planning, ideally within a multi-company organization.
  • CTP or CPA designation or post-secondary diploma in a related field considered an asset.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and adept with digital systems.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and maintain confidentiality.
