VistaVu is seeking a seasoned Director Employee Experience to join our EX team. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the development and execution of an HR strategy to engage employees to act like owners in a way that drives exceptional business performance.

Along with the EX Executive Consultant, this individual is responsible for developing and implementing a Human Resources (HR) strategy that enhances employee engagement, creates a high-performance culture, and supports VistaVu’s business objectives.

- Recruit and retain the best talent through innovative and inclusive recruitment strategies.
- Facilitate workforce planning including recruitment priorities to forecast the needs of the business for permanent employees, contractors and our immigration pipelines.
- Assist in developing the compensation and benefits strategy and oversee the administration of these programs.
- Implement the rewards and recognition programs to increase business results and employee engagement.
- Provide day to day performance management guidance to leaders (including performance improvement plan and career development plan support).
- Help leaders deal with organizational, people and change related issues.
- Identify training needs and assist in aligning training programs with business objectives.
- Workforce planning – right size, shape, cost, and agility for the future.
- Facilitate the talent and succession planning process.
- Work with business leaders to evolve organization structures and talent strategies for short- and long-term scalability.
- Building strong relationships with the VistaVu Team.
- Engage in the business, influence, and equip people leaders to lead their teams and foster a highly engaged, inspiring and inclusive workplace.
- Implement and support company-wide employee engagement initiatives, localizing them as needed; Work closely with management and employees to improve working relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
- Design, operate and automate all people processes to ensure clarity, efficiency, and a remarkable employee experience.
- Develop and implement HR-related projects and participate as a team member on special projects as needed.

- HRIS subject matter expert on recruitment, talent modules.
- Solid understanding of HRIS core modules (people admin, time capture and payroll/benefits).
- Experience with Bamboo HR is preferred.
- Help define and deliver an agenda to assess and enhance our people system capabilities, including HRIS, ATS, and Workforce Planning and Scheduling.
- Build strategic partnerships with business unit leadership by developing a deep knowledge and understanding of their business drivers, challenges and needs.
- Establish and operate a Data and Analytics capability for People Operations.
- Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
- Analyze trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs and policies; provides reporting on HR metrics to management team.
- 10+ years of progressive HR Leadership experience.
- Comfort working in a hands-on, fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
- Develop and operationalize an HR strategy aligned with the business goals.
- Partner with operations leaders to manage performance and engagement.
- Standardize and automate people management processes; ensure compliance and consistency in employee relations and policy.
- Use data to guide decisions and improve engagement and retention.
- Manage a small HR team

- Excellent decision-making skills and the ability to influence, engage and inspire others.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing innovative people programs to support organizational growth.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to understand the key financial and HR drivers that impact business results.
- Strong consultative style with experience coaching and supporting business leaders.
- Advanced working knowledge of HR-related legislation.
- Experience in a multi-jurisdictional work environment, including previous support of Canadian and US operations, is preferred.
