IT Support Applications Analyst (Healthcare) at Benchmark Recruitment
Benchmark Recruitment is proud to partner with our client, a leading healthcare organization, to find a skilled and motivated IT Support Applications Analyst to join their team in Calgary.
This position plays a key role in supporting, maintaining, and optimizing critical clinical and business applications within a fast-paced radiology environment. The successful candidate will help ensure seamless data flow, resolve system issues, and contribute to application improvement projects that directly support high-quality patient care.
What You’ll Do
- Support and maintain clinical and business applications used across the organization.
- Troubleshoot application and integration issues, collaborating closely with the IT and helpdesk teams.
- Develop a strong understanding of clinical workflows and how they interact with key systems.
- Document processes and workflows to support training and continuous improvement.
- Participate in enhancement projects by gathering requirements, testing solutions, and supporting implementation.
- Follow ITIL best practices and maintain strict privacy and confidentiality standards.
What You Bring
- A post-secondary degree in Computer Engineering Sciences or equivalent experience.
- Experience with Mirth Connect, HL7, DICOM, and JavaScript (highly desirable).
- Previous exposure to healthcare IT, radiology, or RIS/PACS systems is a strong asset.
- Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results with minimal supervision.
