Experience Required:
- Experience with Java full stack development, REST APIs and SOAP (JAX-WS) services, Microservices, SQL
- Knowledge of developing distributed cloud applications
- Hands-on experience designing, developing, testing, and troubleshooting RESTful API and interface specifications (Swagger, RAML, SOAP)
- Knowledge of security gateways and protocols (JWT, OAuth 2.0, SSL Certificates)
- Knowledge of software engineering practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source code management, build processes, and testing
- Experience with code merging and branching methodologies using Git and code release process
- Theoretical knowledge of web-based application architectures and frameworks (including Angular or React) and the way it integrates with services
- Associate should have knowledge and experience of DB2 connection via JDBC template, multiple databases, and Agile.
- Should be able to communicate and coordinate with business for preparing UAT test cases based on requirements.
- Hands-on experience with Jenkins, DevOps process, Agile Scrum methodology.
- Kafka, Async calls, JMS Transaction, IMS (J2C) transaction.
- Cache – Redis cache/app internal cache, Timeouts.
- Attend agile sessions with product owner in refining detailed requirements.
- Assess the impact of the application due to new requirements.
- Provide high-level estimate by sharing requirement details and discussing with offshore team.
- Participate in regular meetings with offshore.
- Prepare and share high-level solution design and present the same to clients.
- Schedule walkthrough with the maintenance team.
- Deploy code changes to test environments and then to production environment.
- Provide warranty support of changes deployed by monitoring daily and monthly batch flows.
- Investigate any emergency issues or production problems and provide updates to business or IT
- Work and coordinate with offshore team and ensure all requirements are addressed
- Ensure functional test coverage is 100% based on requirements
