Content Marketing Manager | Fluevog Shoes at Fluevog Shoes

We’re after a sharp and strategic storyteller with at least 5 years of marketing or communications experience; someone equally comfortable crafting compelling brand content and diving into the performance side of digital marketing. You’re experienced in building campaigns across channels, writing standout copy, and using data to guide what comes next.

You’ll work closely with our Marketing, Design, and Retail teams to plan campaigns, build community, and add to the Fluevog story. Experience with email and SMS marketing campaigns, content creation, and analytics is a must. If you also know your way around Shopify, WordPress, and a few Meta ads, even better!

This role is perfect for someone who thrives on both creativity and strategy; someone who can take content projects like photography shoots from concept to launch, anticipate bumps in the road, and adjust based on results. Most importantly, you’ll be excited to help tell the Fluevog story, connect with our amazing community, and drive results for the business.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Writing and editing clear, creative, and engaging copy for email newsletters, SMS campaigns, social media, product descriptions, blog posts, and ads

• Managing the social media content calendar and monitoring engagement to ensure consistent, on-brand messaging

• Owning Fluevog’s email and SMS programs: planning, testing, segmenting audiences, and analyzing performance to grow engagement and revenue

• Collaborating with the marketing, design, and retail teams to develop and execute campaign concepts that align with business goals

• Overseeing photography and content production, ensuring creative consistency across channels

• Coordinating with external partners or agencies when needed, ensuring alignment with internal brand and business objectives

• Participating in brainstorming and planning sessions to develop new ideas, content series, and campaign strategies

What You Bring

• Strong copywriting and storytelling skills

• Proven experience managing email and SMS marketing campaigns

• Experience with analytics and data-driven decision making

• Comfort working across creative and technical tools (WordPress, social media schedulers, eCommerce platforms)

• Experience managing photography or content shoots

• Ability to plan, prioritize, and pivot based on what’s working

• A collaborative spirit and a hands-on work ethic! You’re someone who digs in, learns, and adapts

Nice-to-Haves

• Familiarity with Meta ads or digital advertising strategy

• Knowledge of HTML/CSS

• Experience working with external agencies or vendors

• Understanding of customer lifecycle marketing or audience segmentation

Please note that we are an in-person-first team. We like our hands (and feet!) on the product so close to our hearts. While we work remotely occasionally, we can only consider candidates who are already able to commute to our Gastown, Vancouver office.
