Cansel is the largest Trimble re-seller in Canada. As one of Cansel’s Engineering Account Manager (sales), you will need hutzpah and drive to sell this equipment. You will be on the road at least one week per month. We are looking for someone who has experience as a surveyor or other Engineering/Surveying experience and sales training will be provided.

In this role, you will...
- Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, trade-in allowances, warranties and delivery dates
- Oversee the preparation of sales and orders
- Prepare sales or other contracts
- Promote sales to existing clients
- Read blueprints to determine dimensions of structure or system and material requirements
- Identify and solicit potential clients
- Assess client’s needs and resources to recommend the appropriate goods or services
- Develop reports and proposals to illustrate benefits from use of good or service
- Deliver sales presentations
- Represent companies that export and import products or services to and from foreign countries
- Conduct sales transactions
- Prepare and administer sales contracts
- Conduct sales transactions through Internet-based electronic commerce
- Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties and delivery dates
- Provide input into product design where goods or services must be tailored to suit client's needs
- Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support
- Reach to clients after sale or signed contracts to provide ongoing support
- Review and adapt information regarding product innovations, competitors and market conditions
- Train customers' staff in the operation and maintenance of equipment
- Provide clients with presentations on the benefits and uses of goods or services
- Resolve product and service related problems
- Advertise and/or promote products, sales or services
- Supervise activities of other technical sales specialists
- Imperative that you have experience as a surveyor or in Survey and/or the Engineering (AEC) industry.
- An energetic, self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit and passion for selling in a competitive market
- Experience recommending, presenting, and selling a number of products based on customer needs
- Initiative, self-motivation, flexibility, drive, and superb communication and computer skills are essential
- Willingness to spend 40-60% of time on the road (locally and occasionally overnight) servicing and visiting customers
- Creative problem-solving skills and business savvy
- Driving license in good standing
