Job Title: Technical Services Supervisor

Location: Kingston, KT1 2BA

Contract: Full-time, Permanent Position

Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum plus Sodexo benefits

Purpose of the Role

Leadand supervise a team of engineering technicians to deliver safe, efficient, andcompliant maintenance services on a high-profile client site. Ensure reliablefacility operations, support the client’s core business, and uphold Sodexo’sstandards for health, safety, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise planned and reactive maintenance to meet service level agreements.
  • Diagnose faults, carry out repairs, and minimise operational downtime.
  • Review and manage risk assessments and ensure all works are performed safely.
  • Maintain accurate records and compliance through the Maximo (CAFM) system.
  • Oversee subcontractors, stock control, and cost-effective delivery of engineering services.
  • Mentor and develop technicians and apprentices, promoting a strong safety culture.
  • Build effective relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Support demobilisation of Lever House and transition to the new Unilever Kingston Campus.

Key Accountabilities

  • Safe and compliant delivery of maintenance activities.
  • Effective supervision and performance of engineering teams.
  • Accurate reporting of time, materials, and maintenance records.
  • Prompt response to faults and emergencies.
  • Continuous improvement in service quality and sustainability.

Person Specification

Qualifications & Experience

  • Fully qualified Electrician (AM2 preferred) or Mechanical/Plumbing Engineer.
  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Experience supervising maintenance teams in technical environments.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering compliance and UK legislation.
  • IT literate with experience using Microsoft Office and CAFM systems (Maximo).
