In this role, you will play a key role in ensuring the proper organization and maintenance of equipment, making sure everything is ready and in excellent condition for operational needs. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising staff, coordinating schedules, and maintaining high standards of safety and cleanliness. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential, as you will be guiding your team and resolving any issues that arise during your shift. This position requires someone who is reliable, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
We are looking for candidates with previous supervisory experience, although we are willing to train the right person who demonstrates strong organizational skills and a commitment to excellence. A valid driver’s license may be required, and availability for evening shifts is essential.

What You’ll Do
As a Caretaking Supervisor, you’ll lead by example and ensure our facilities are clean, safe, and up to Edon’s standards. Your key responsibilities will include:
Supervising and supporting a team of caretakers, providing training and hands-on help when needed.
Ensuring quality through regular walkthroughs and prompt responses to urgent cleaning or client requests.
Handling scheduling, staffing, and documentation in coordination with the operations team.
Building strong client relationships and being their go-to contact for caretaking services.
- Maintaining supplies, cleanliness, and order in storage areas and ensuring proper building security.
- Provide back-up support in cases of unscheduled cleaner absences
Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum two years of cleaning experience in a working supervisory role, with caretaking experience in healthcare facilities and clinics required
- Strong command of the English language (reading and writing)
- Basic computer skills using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong customer care, communication and client management skills
- Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to lead a team of staff to accomplish objectives
- Excellent knowledge of custodial practices
- Excellent knowledge of janitorial equipment, supplies, and technologies
- Valid Driver’s License and clean Driver’s Abstract
- Owns a vehicle to drive between sites
- Availability for evening shifts (2:30 PM – 11:00 PM) is required.
