Description and Requirements

This role leads the fulfillment of provisioning activities for key accounts, ensuring all sites are properly provisioned and meet company standards. The position includes managing a team dedicated to these activities and overseeing the return process with a focus on accuracy and quality control. Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to drive operational efficiency.

This position will require onsite work in the greater Toronto area during CFS operating hours (Monday-Friday 7 am - 3 pm ET). Candidate must be within commuting distance to be considered.

The Regional Custom Fulfilment Services Manager for Canada will be responsible for the following:

  • Lead and manage a team of Canada-based Lenovo employees while providing daily operational priority guidance to vendor contracted resources.
  • Demonstrate ability to work in a high-pressure environment to tight timelines.
  • Work within a team that has a strong focus on collaborating and sharing knowledge among your peers to facilitate timely and superior delivery of requirements. (Presales, Sales, Delivery, Vendors).
  • Provide accurate reports on all activities performed at the CFS on a daily / weekly / monthly basis.
  • Develop, analyze, and maintain tools that support and automate build and test processes.
  • Work with the project management team to establish, document, and maintain the build process for each project.
  • Plan and scale resources within the facility to cope with a staggered or spiked work demand.
  • Actively assess / contribute to the continuous improvement of work, standards, processes and methodologies.
  • In order to cope with ongoing demand, provide advice around capability, the scale of the facility, and other process improvements as deemed fit.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy work environment within the Lenovo configuration services facility.
  • Provide training and guidance on building processes as required to other staff deemed fit or necessary.
  • Conduct client tours of CFS facility.
  • Participate in client calls / escalations as needed.
  • Enable and develop new solutions based on requirements of the region.
  • Ensure appropriate tracking tools are being used and SLA and other reports are enabled to measure performance of the sites.
  • Take decisions on BMC spends accurately and ensure sites are profitable.


Basic Qualifications

  • 8+ years' proven experience as a Configuration Engineer or people manager in IT Services, corporate environment.
  • Fluent in English, additional language proficiencies welcomed.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to lead a team of people to deliver projects on time.
  • Proven ability to problem solve and think laterally.
  • Proven ability to learn new and complex technology.
  • Able to prioritize in a fast paced, dynamic work environment.
  • Ability to commit and hold to delivery dates but also work with agility and speed to respond to short-notice requests.
  • Effectively able to transfer thoughts and expresses ideas verbally in individual or group situations.
  • Relevant industry experiences managing, designing, and implementing enterprise scale server and desktop environments.
  • Working Knowledge on Windows Operating Systems and MS Products.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot Client solutions.
  • Automation and scripting skills.
  • Exposure to regulated environments would be highly regarded.
