Procurement & Supply Chain Coordinator at Earls Head Office

Earls Kitchen + Bar is hiring a Procurement & Supply Chain Coordinator to join our Procurement + Supply Chain team in Vancouver, BC. In this role, you will be responsible for the coordination and execution of all our item and program transitions, new vendors, and new item set-ups. Working closely with our Supply Chain and Systems teams, you are a conduit between these 2 internal teams with a unique perspective to streamline processes within our program set-ups.
You will serve as the crucial link between our Supply Chain and Systems teams, leveraging your unique perspective to streamline program setup processes across both internal groups.

Role Responsibilities
- Support new item rollouts and features by holding purchasers accountable for their products and orchestrating details between Product Development, Procurement and Supply Chain, and Distributors.
- Responsible for liaising with the Accounts Payable team for new accounts and vendor setup.
- Coordinate Supply Chain transitions and inventory through our distributors to eliminate delivery issues and stockouts.
- Regularly look for opportunities to streamline and execute the item roll-out process for efficient rollouts and to mitigate dead stock and waste.
- Responsible for maintaining Distributor order guides utilizing Procurement and Supply Chain systems and related programs.
- Foster and maintain relationships with Distributors and direct Vendors.
- Utilize Google Sheets to organize, manage, and maintain large sets of data efficiently.
- Provide support to the supply chain team on product shortages, distribution issues, and menu rollout execution, and provide vacation coverage.
- Support the Procurement and Supply Chain team with research and special projects as assigned.
- Provide occasional weekend & stat holiday coverage as needed.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in Procurement and Supply Chain within the hospitality industry.
- A degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Administration is an asset.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with identifying and implementing supply chain cost mitigation and savings opportunities.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office and Google Suite applications.
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
- Experience working with US operations is a strong asset.
