Shape the World Around You – As a Marine Construction Manager with our Earth and Environment Applied Solutions (EEAS) team, you’ll lead transformative construction efforts at a remote site near Squamish, BC. This rotational role (two weeks on, two weeks off) offers the chance to manage large-scale, multidisciplinary projects that support WSP’s engineers, scientists, and operating divisions across Canada. The position involves working 12–13-hour shifts daily. Travel to and from the site is covered by WSP.

Salary range (in British Columbia): $86,500 - $132,200
The final salary awarded for this role may vary from the above range based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs. The salary range provided in this job posting may be subject to change for business purposes.
Note: This salary range does not include overtime compensation. Overtime will be paid in accordance with applicable employment standards.

Your Impact
- Deliver construction oversight for complex infrastructure projects with a focus on safety, scope, quality, and schedule.
- Lead the development and execution of project plans, including site safety and logistics.
- Interface with clients, engineers, and regulatory bodies to ensure seamless communication and compliance.
- Manage RFIs, change orders, and directives while responding to site incidents.
- Coordinate field teams and subcontractors to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
- Provide project updates and trend forecasts to senior leadership.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards throughout all phases of construction.
- 10–12 years of construction experience, including 6+ years as a Construction Manager on a large Marine Construction Project
- University degree in Civil, Mechanical, Structural, or Geotechnical Engineering (or equivalent technical discipline).
- Proven leadership in managing multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors.
- Experience with large diameter drilled caissons, freighter terminals, and marine construction is an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Procore, IDoc’s, and Adobe Acrobat.
- PMP or Professional Engineer designation is an asset.
- Willingness to work rotational shifts (day and night) and travel 100% of the time to Squamish, BC.
- Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset.
