  • Participer activement au recrutement et animer des groupes de discussion ou mener des entrevues, de de 20 à 60 minutes, constitués de personnes âgées de 18 ans et plus, afin de recueillir des données relatives aux pratiques et aux habitudes de transmission linguistiques au sein de la communauté fransaskoise en lien avec la langue française.
  • Réaliser d’autres tâches connexes liées à ce projet (transcriptions, suivis, dépouillement de données, etc.).

For the project “« De la famille à la communauté : politiques linguistiques et modes de transmission du français en Saskatchewan, the successful research assistant is expected to:
  • Lead focus groups or individual interviews of 20 to 6 minutes in length, comprised of participants aged 18 years and over, in order to collect data related to strategies adopted to ensure the transmission of the French language within the Fransaskois community;
  • Take part in other tasks related to research (transcriptions, follow-up, data analysis, etc.).

Position Requirements
  • Avoir une bonne maîtrise du français et de l’anglais (écrit et oral);
  • Expérience dans les techniques de collecte de données, surtout en animation de groupes de discussion ou entrevue individuelle ;
  • Être prêt.e à voyager à l’extérieur de Regina (au besoin).

  • Be proficient in French and English (spoken and written)
  • Experience in data collection techniques, particularly in conducting focus groups or individual interview (asset)
  • Be willing to travel outside Regina, if necessary.
