What are your contributions to the team?

• Work within the Advanced Structures engineering department of Bombardier;
• Help develop models and tools to process an innovative aircraft structure;
• Complete and analyze available data concerning similar existing structures
• Create the documentation (procedures and methodologies) for the development of this new aircraft;
• Support the first phase of development for the structural aspect with standard analysis tools, for instance, finite element analysis;
• Begin the production of the deliverables required for this first development phase
  
  
  

How to thrive in this role?

• You are enrolled in a mechanical engineering degree with some coding experience
• You are familiar with python coding (Python 3.0+) and object-oriented programming methods
• You have an experience with Nastran (Siemens NX, Altair OptiStruct, MSC)
• Or at least an another finite element software suite
• You have basic knowledge of MS Office; Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• You are autonomous, result-driven and enthusiastic with strong work ethic
• You are available for an extension or a longer internship (8 month)
