What You’ll Accomplish With Us
As a Senior Registration Officer, you’ll be at the core of our mission. Here are the main responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit registration filings on the National Registration Database (NRD) system in full compliance with securities laws and regulations.
- Manage the filing of US State registrations for registrants under the “Blue-Sky” exemption notice.
- Respond to inquiries from regulators, registrants, and Head Office, providing clear, accurate, and professional communication.
- Monitor regulatory changes impacting registration requirements, offering insights that drive procedural updates and maintain compliance.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data across multiple databases, updating information as needed to support operational efficiency.
- Participate in special projects and stay current with industry changes to continuously improve registration processes.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is known for their strong analytical skills and keen attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all registration processes.
- Stands out for their organizational abilities and clear, professional communication skills, even under pressure.
- Demonstrates strong proficiency with the National Registration Database (NRD) and advanced technical skills to manage complex filings.
- Is recognized for their ability to work independently while fostering collaboration within a team environment.
- Has 8 or more years of experience in Registrations, preferably with Investment Dealers and Mutual Fund Dealers.
- Bilingualism (English and French) is considered an asset as the person will be collaborating across regions and supporting national operations.
