We are looking for a Junior Plant Operator/Driver located in Lloydminster, AB. This is your opportunity to join a global technology company, driving energy innovation for a balanced planet.

What You Will Do

  • Responsible for the assembly, inventory and inspection of all products
  • Operate overhead crane as needed
  • Operate a three-axle rod hauling truck as needed
  • Operate a field fusion welding truck as needed
  • Loading of full transport reels and unloading of empty transport reels onto/off of transport trailers
  • Communicate with the Edmonton facility regarding inventory levels
  • Stamp Pro-Rod accessories
  • Assist Senior Operators in the maintenance of equipment
  • Housekeeping duties
  • Fill out appropriate paperwork
  • Assist in monthly and quarterly inventory counts
  • Other duties as required

Pre-Employment Requirements

  • Drug and alcohol testing
  • Fitness-to-work testing
  • Drivers’ abstract

Position Details

  • Permanent
  • Full-time
  • Mainly working day-shift operations, with overtime as required
  • Weekend or night shift may be required dependent on customer needs
  • Travel to customer sites

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working with mechanical assembly and service
  • Experience working with machinery and power tools

Preferred Qualifications

  • Valid class 3 driver’s license with a clean record
  • Valid class 1 driver's license with clean record
  • Ability to read blueprints
