YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:

Reporting to the Finance Supervisor, you will be part of the Finance Department. This role is specifically designed to develop the successful candidate into a Finance professional, supporting a long-term career at Agnico Eagle. You will support operational excellence, safety, and continuous improvement while learning and growing in a dynamic mining environment.

• Support operational excellence, financial integrity and continuous improvement.
• Assist with daily finance tasks, including data entry, reconciliations and reporting
• Support the preparation and review of budgets and forecasts
• Participate in audits, compliance activities and internal controls reviews
• Participate in safety initiatives and promote a culture of safety and responsibility
• Contribute to environmental stewardship and compliance efforts
• Engage in continuous improvement projects and support technology adoption
• Learn to use finance related software and tools
• Take part in training and development opportunities to build your technical and leadership skills
• Benefit from mentorship and guidance to progress towards professional finance or accounting certification

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

• 
  Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related field (graduated within the last 2 years or soon to graduate)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communicator and team player
• Eager to learn, adapt, and contribute in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to safety, environmental responsibility, and Agnico Eagle’s values
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Power BI

Your Work Schedule:

• Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday at our Timmins Regional Office or Kirkland Lake Office
• You must be willing to work on a rotational schedule at a remote mine site
