Faculty/Department Faculty of Social Work Unit Social Work-Other Employee Group CUPE 2419 CUPE 5791 Job Family N/A Category Student Number of Vacancies 1 Position Summary Working under the direction of Daniel Ji, the ideal candidate will be an MSW student in the thesis stream with strong skills in analyzing qualitative data and will be conducting interviews where data are sensitive. Therefore, the candidate must be well-versed in the ethical, safe, and responsible collection and management of data. Preference will be given to URegina MSW students.
Opportunities for publication, presentation at conferences, and knowledge mobilization experience, and to enhance knowledge base about working with 2SLGBTQ+ youth and the intersection of legislation and schools Position Requirements
  • Master of Social Work student, thesis stream preferred
  • Specialized training working with children and youth preferred
  • Experience conducting interviews collecting qualitative data
  • Experience using NVivo to analyze qualitative data as well as Otter AI
  • Experience working with children and families
  • Experience working with youth
