Who We're Looking For

Marketbridge is seeking a Specialist, Marketing Data Operations to support the design, implementation and maintenance of data workflows, automations, pipelines and integrations that power multi-channel marketing and sales programs. This role is ideal for a technically skilled and detail-oriented professional who thrives on building reliable, automated, and scalable data solutions that enable marketing campaign activation, personalization, and reporting.

As a key member of our Marketing Technology & Operations group, you’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate marketing and business requirements into well-orchestrated data processes that ensure accurate targeting, segmentation, and performance tracking. You’ll play a hands-on role in developing and maintaining SQL- and Python-based ETL workflows, monitoring and troubleshooting data workflows and systems integrations, and generating documentation, tools, and templates that drive operational efficiencies and cross-team collaboration.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys solving complex data challenges, improving data processes, and collaborating across disciplines to operationalize marketing data. You understand how data fuels marketing and sales strategies through automation, process standardization, campaign activation at scale, and performance measurement - and you take pride in ensuring it’s clean, consistent, and ready for action.

If you’re excited by the opportunity to build the data backbone that supports high-performing marketing programs, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute and maintain SQL-based ETL processes to manage audience lists/segments, execute campaign journeys, and deploy personalized campaign assets

  • Automate, maintain, and QA data workflows using Python, integrating across marketing and sales platforms (e.g. Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce CRM, HubSpot, Eloqua, Marketo, Tableau, Looker Studio) and secure databases

  • Review, cleanse, standardize, and prepare data sets to support targeting and segmentation strategies, campaign activation and measurement in marketing automation, CRM, and reporting platforms.

  • Execute quality control best practices in logging, error-handling, and alerting to ensure reliable campaign and program execution and issue resolution

  • Validate and troubleshoot data workflows and processing outputs, ensuring alignment with campaign and program requirements (i.e. segmentation, personalization, journey logic, privacy compliance)

  • Document data processes, logic, and business rules to enable transparency, reusability, and knowledge transfer.

  • Support the build and maintenance of reporting dashboards (Looker Studio, Tableau, PowerBI) by sourcing, preparing and integrating data from marketing automation, CRM, Adtech and analytics platforms

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of experience in a data-oriented role (e.g. data analyst, data engineer) with proven experience in assessing, cleansing, merging, and preparing data for analysis and workflow automation, ideally within a marketing environment or agency

  • SQL skills for querying databases, building and optimizing ETL processes, and executing stored procedures

  • Strong Python experience for data extraction and transformation, workflow automation, and file handling.

  • Advanced Excel skills assessing, cleansing and structuring data using pivot tables, formulas, and data governance rules

  • Familiarity with data visualization and reporting tools such as Looker, Tableau, PowerBI, Domo

  • Familiarity with web analytics platforms and applications (e.g. Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Adobe Analytics) is a plus

  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.

  • Comfortable collaborating across marketing, technology, and analytics teams.

  • Working knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Journey Builder, Data Extensions) a plus

  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and documentation skills.

  • Interest in developing deeper expertise in marketing data operations, automation, and analytics.
