As part of our Shared Services group, comprised of Finance, Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, Commercial, Legal and Facilities, we support the business achieve their goals through a range of strong technical capabilities. We ensure delivery of services through the skills of our people, methodologies, and systems.
As an Intermediate Marketing Specialist within our Shared Services team, you’ll take ownership of marketing initiatives that elevate Hatch’s brand and showcase our expertise globally. You’ll collaborate with global marketing managers, subject matter experts, and business leaders to transform technical insights into compelling external marketing materials that resonate with clients and stakeholders globally.
This is an opportunity to influence how a leading global firm communicates its vision, capabilities, and impact. You’ll work on projects that span digital campaigns, award submissions, press releases, events, and industry conferences, helping Hatch stand out in competitive markets.
What you’ll do
- Develop and execute marketing campaigns aligned with strategic business objectives.
- Contribute to thought leadership by developing insightful content such as articles, blogs, and industry perspectives that showcase our expertise and position Hatch as an innovator in mining, energy, and infrastructure.
- Leverage marketing analytics to track campaign performance, measure engagement, and provide insights that inform strategy and optimize future initiatives.
- Create client-facing materials such as brochures, social media, case studies, presentations, reports, and annual reviews.
- Draft press releases and award submissions that showcase exceptional expertise and achievements.
- Support industry events, conferences, and tradeshows.
- Translate complex technical content into clear, engaging messaging for diverse audiences.
- Conduct market research to inform new services, products, and competitive positioning.
- Collaborate with leadership across disciplines and geographies to deliver impactful marketing initiatives.
- Contribute fresh ideas to evolve Hatch’s global marketing strategy.
What you bring
- A diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business Administration, plus 5–7 years of experience.
- Exceptional writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify technical concepts.
- Strong organizational, project management, and time management abilities to handle multiple priorities.
- Creativity and familiarity with innovative marketing approaches.
- Proficiency with Microsoft office tools.
- Experience with social media, web development, and creative design tools.
- Experience in engineering, construction, or technology sectors (an asset).
- Enthusiasm and a growth mindset, with a willingness to learn new skills.
- Highly collaborative with the ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
