The Role

We are seeking a People and Culture Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of the People and Culture team and ensure smooth business unit functioning. You will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Director of People and Culture and contribute to the overall effectiveness of our people operations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support including correspondence, document preparation, and P&C function administration
  • Manage company telephone voicemail system
  • Support the complete employee life-cycle and update HRIS as required
  • Coordinate new hire onboarding experiences in collaboration with the People and Culture team
  • Issue P&C letters, reference letters, and employment certificates
  • Order gifts and flowers for associates
  • Support ad-hoc P&C projects and office social events
  • Assist with event planning, project plans, and budget tracking
  • Liaise with Finance team on vendor payments
  • Maintain awareness of ISO 27001 compliance standards
  • Actively contribute to Health & Safety workplace audits
Required Qualifications

Knowledge & Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment
  • Highly cooperative with willingness to take on new responsibilities
  • Strong ability to build effective working relationships
  • High degree of confidentiality and accountability
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and proactive approach to task completion
  • Works with urgency and meets deadlines
  • Excellent verbal communication and professional telephone manner

Experience & Education:

  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in business administration, commerce, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience in an administrative capacity or as a Coordinator

Work Conditions

  • Hybrid: 1-2 days per week in office (may increase based on department meetings and events)
