About the job:
Kent is looking for an Information Management Specialist to support document control, data accuracy, and vendor/engineering documentation workflows. This role will be seconded into our client’s operations at their Sarnia office, embedded with the owner team while employed by Kent.


Skills and Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

Document Management
  • Maintain document filing, versioning, and metadata accuracy
  • Track transmittals, deliverables, and vendor documentation
Workflow Support
  • Coordinate review cycles and document distribution
  • Ensure timely follow-ups on outstanding documentation
Registers & Reporting
  • Maintain document registers and dashboards
  • Prepare weekly documentation status summaries
Stakeholder Interface
  • Support engineering and procurement teams
  • Liaise with vendors regarding documentation compliance

In addition to the responsibilities listed herein, the employee may be required to perform other ad-hoc tasks as needed or directed by the supervisor or management. These tasks will be within the reasonable scope of the employee's skills, capabilities, and role within the organization. The intent of this provision is to allow for flexibility and adaptability in meeting the dynamic needs of the organization, ensuring that operational requirements can be met efficiently. All such tasks will be assigned considering the employee's current workload and with respect to their professional development.

Your knowledge/skills, education, and experience:

Knowledge/Qualifications/Training/Certification:
  • Diploma or equivalent in Document Control/Information Management
  • 5+ years relevant experience
Communication
  • Excellent command of the English language in both oral and written communication and skills.
Behavior/Core Competencies
  • Detail-oriented, organized, accurate data management.
