Air Inuit has been providing essential scheduled, charter, cargo and emergency air transportation services to Nunavik and beyond, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, for more than 45 years. Position Overview

Under the supervision of the Commercial Operations Director, the appointee will have the responsibility to direct the ramp personnel and plan all services in accordance with the highest security and quality industry standards

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Plan and organize all departures and arrivals at the FBO and all ramp movement;
  • Ensure communication between the department and Dispatch, Maintenance, Charters and Operations as well with the extern firms;
  • Work with the cargo warehouse team to facilitate the operations;
  • Plan and organize the work schedule for all FBO employees, together with the counter lead;
  • Plan and organize all training for the ramp employees and ensure their renewal;
  • Ensure employees fill in their time cards;
  • Assist the team in their daily tasks;
  • Perform all other duties deemed necessary by the company in order to ensure the effectiveness of the operation.


Qualifications

  • Ramp and aviation experience required;
  • Personnel management experience, an asset;
  • Knowledge of office software such as: Word, Excel, Outlook;
  • Have strong communication and problem solving skills;
  • Possess an airport pass for regulated zones (RAIC) as well as a Driving permit (D/A);
  • Bilingual (English/French), Inuktitut, an asset;
  • Be able to communicate in writing as well as orally;
  • Able to generate fluid teamwork;
  • Able to work under pressure;
  • Available to work flexible hours

  • Morning schedule
  • On call on week ends


Compensation

The remuneration package and associated benefits will be in accordance with corporate policies.

Level E - $49 295 - $60 249
