An introduction to the anthropological concept of culture, its uses in the explanation of human behaviour, and its impact on our understanding of human nature, language, and society. The course will explore cultural diversity through the comparative perspective that makes anthropology unique within the humanities and social sciences. week Course Modality On Campus, Face-to-Face Course Dates and Time Tuesdays, Thursdays - 13:00-14:15 Duration (if Term/Temporary) January 1 - April 30, 2026. Sessional Lecturers may have preparatory work to do before the start date and sometimes may have to deal with grading tasks after the termination date. - hold a MA in Anthropology or a closely related field;
- have a record of effective teaching at the post-secondary level;
- have experience managing classroom and online technologies used by the University of Regina (including UR Courses [Moodle])
