Air Inuit has been providing essential scheduled, charter, cargo and emergency air transportation services to Nunavik and beyond, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, for 45 years. Position Overview

Contributes to the sustainability of the technological park via technical assistance to employees when using IT tools and communicating good user practices.

Assumes a role of collaborator in the realization of technical activities and participates in the resolution of technical problems. Contributes to the development and improvement of work methods and procedures. Can contribute to knowledge transfer by mentoring and coaching less experienced employees on his team.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Perform technical support.
  • Active participation to the upgrade and automation of the enterprise computer systems including northern Quebec.
  • Assist in the preparation of documentation and technical procedures.
  • Solving problems of intermediate complexity.
  • Assistance to less experienced team members.


Qualifications

  • College degree in computer science.
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ relevant experience
  • Technical knowledge :


o Excellent knowledge of MsWindow, MsOffice, Internet and hardware.

o Good knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory.

o Good knowledge of Group Policy (GPO).

  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Bilingual (French-English).
  • Eager to learn
  • Attention to details
  • Able to handle stress
  • Available to travel to Nunavik (Quebec internal flights).
