Days, 8 hour shifts.

Basic Requirements

• Current Certificate of Registration from the College of Nurses of Ontario;
• Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery experience within the last 1 year;
• Current experience with Cardiac Telemedicine/Telehealth within the last 1 year;
• Excellent computer skills and database experience;
• Demonstrates an understanding of and commitment to patient teaching and self-care education;
• Demonstrates the ability to work effectively as an active member of the health care team;
• Demonstrates well-developed communication and interpersonal skills;
• Must be eligible to work in Canada;
• Proficiency in English and French - oral expression (advanced level) and comprehension (advanced level).
  
  
  

Language proficiency requirements are based on the nature of the position and the level of interaction with French and English speaking clients.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing;
• Experience with care of cardiac patients in the community;
• Experience with telepractice;
• Experience with chronic disease management.
