Position Summary

Northern Health is seeking a Coordinator, Specialist Services Committee Physician Quality Improvement to join our Physician Quality departmentThe Coordinator, Specialist Services Committee Physician Quality Improvement (SSC PQI Coordinator) key role is to spread innovations by working with the SSC PQI Team to highlight successful quality improvement practices through effective communication methods and knowledge translation. The SSC PQI Coordinator works with the broad SSC PQI and SQI team, Quality and Innovation department, and Physician Communications to ensure innovations, quality improvement ideas and quality targets are communicated to physicians at various sites in the health authority, using the appropriate medium and message. The SSC PQI Coordinator works to showcase various SSC initiatives that are occurring in Northern Health (NH) sites and connect them to regional quality initiatives, as well as assisting with the coordination of quality improvement activities and education. Further this position provides administrative support for the SSC PQI Initiative.
Starting salary will be approximately from $57,347 to $71,684 and will be based on education, training, experience, and salaries of similar positions.

Qualifications
- Diploma in Business or Health Administration plus two (2) to three (3) years recent relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Certificate in quality improvement, Lean, Six Sigma or equivalent training in the use of quality improvement methods and tools considered an asset.

- Ability to communicate at an advanced level, using brevity and clarity, both verbally and in writing, with a variety of audiences and stakeholders.

- Ability and willingness to travel.
