Reporting to the Manager, IT Operations, the IT Infrastructure and Cloud Analyst oversees the network services including the on- premises IT infrastructure and the cloud-based services and provide strategic technical solutions including IT Infrastructure design, operations, and IT projects.
What you’ll be doing
- Provide technical advice and leadership in IT Infrastructure and cloud strategy development
- Provide strategic technical consultation to the business and IT leaders, with security best practices as a priority
- Research and maintain awareness of latest and relevant technology solutions, and advise on new technical solutions or replacements
- Create short-term tactical solutions to achieve long-term objectives that are aligned with the IM/IT strategy and utilize project management framework (Kanban) to manage pipeline
- Develop and present business cases to IT Management for the selection, testing, installation and support of new IT infrastructure equipment or cloud services
- Participate in the installation, configuration, maintenance and support of the IT infrastructure hardware and cloud services
- Ensure effective procedures in place for backup, contingency or business continuity, and disaster recovery services; and maintain documentation
- Participate in service desk tasks (level 3) and ensure that the tickets assigned are updated regularly and the work progress is communicated to the end users
- Solve familiar and unfamiliar IT infrastructure problems using analysis of similar incidents and external research, then proposing and implementing short and long-term solutions
What you’ll bring to CCC
- Completion of undergraduate degree in computer science or related discipline
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in technical configuration, scripting, Microsoft administrator policies
- Knowledge of information technology, infrastructure, and cloud services, applications, programming and scripting, databases, data mapping, interfaces, integration, testing and solution validation, production, and technical documentation
- Knowledge of relevant governing legislation, regulations, and guidelines
- Knowledge of office productivity software and databases, discipline-specific software, enterprise software, and technology devices.
- English Essential. Bilingualism in both official languages is strongly recommended
