Faculty/Department Hill and Levene Schools of Business Unit Business Admin-Other Employee Group CUPE 2419 CUPE 5791 Job Family Category Student Number of Vacancies 1 Position Summary The Faculty of Business Administration at the University of Regina invites applications for an undergraduate Research Assistant (RA) position. The successful candidate will support faculty research in Finance Position Requirements Conduct comprehensive literature searches in finance; collect, clean, and organize accounting and financial data from specialized databases using Python; perform textual analysis on qualitative data sources such as earnings calls and corporate disclosures; conduct basic quantitative analysis to support empirical research; support other research-related tasks as needed
Required Qualifications:
  • Current business undergraduate student with strong academic standing; Proficiency in Python programming; Working knowledge of Bloomberg and/or LSEG Workspace; Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Coursework in Finance or Accounting
  • Prior experience with financial data analysis and textual analysis methods
