We are looking for an experienced Senior Guidewire PolicyCenter Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Guidewire PolicyCenter configuration and integration, with proven experience leading development and maintenance projects. This role requires strong technical leadership, a solid understanding of Guidewire InsuranceSuite functional flows, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative onshore/offshore model.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Guidewire PolicyCenter Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Guidewire PolicyCenter configuration and integration, with proven experience leading development and maintenance projects. This role requires strong technical leadership, a solid understanding of Guidewire InsuranceSuite functional flows, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative onshore/offshore model.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of solutions within Guidewire PolicyCenter, including configuration and integration.
- Serve as a technical expert and mentor for junior developers, providing guidance and best practices.
- Collaborate with business analysts and functional teams to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Drive code reviews, enforce coding standards, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Troubleshoot complex issues and provide advanced technical support for Guidewire applications.
- Participate in planning, estimation, and architecture discussions for new initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with security, performance, and quality guidelines.
- Adapt to changing priorities and take ownership of critical tasks.
- 12–15 years of overall IT experience, with significant hands-on experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter development.
- Extensive expertise in Guidewire PolicyCenter, including configuration and integration concepts.
- Strong hands-on experience in Guidewire development and maintenance projects.
- Solid understanding of Guidewire InsuranceSuite functional flow.
- Proficiency in Java, GOSU, XML, Web Services (SOAP/REST).
- Ability to lead technical teams and collaborate across distributed environments.
- Guidewire certifications are highly preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and proactive approach to work assignments.
- Experience with Guidewire BillingCenter or ClaimCenter.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
- Exposure to cloud deployment and integration with third-party systems.
- Experience in performance tuning and optimization of Guidewire applications.
