Our team partners closely with Product and Engineering to drive transformative changes that impact millions of users worldwide. By harnessing large-scale data and innovative analytics, we uncover insights that inform the Search product roadmap and fuel significant business growth. About The Team And The Role

In this high-impact role, you’ll have a unique opportunity to influence critical decisions across the eBay platform.
What You Will Accomplish
- Shape the evolution of eBay Search by delivering actionable insights that directly inform the product roadmap and drive measurable improvements in customer experience.
- Lead deep analyses of A/B tests, guiding feature development with evidence-based recommendations that accelerate business growth.
- Develop, implement, and monitor success metrics that quantify the impact of new Search features and initiatives.
- Partner cross-functionally with product and engineering teams to validate user behaviors, decode web tracking, and translate findings into impactful Search enhancements.
- Drive greater data accessibility and self-serve analytics by building and onboarding dashboards and metrics to our experimentation platform.
- Identify and champion new opportunities for growth by synthesizing findings from behavioral data, customer research, and data science frameworks, fostering your own professional development along the way.
- A Master’s degree in Statistics, Math, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Physics, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 2 years of relevant professional experience, including hands-on analytics using SQL, R, Python, Tableau, or similar tools.
- Experience designing and analyzing online experiments (A/B testing) in a product-led environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present complex analytical insights in clear, simple terms for a variety of stakeholders.
- Proven adaptability to work remotely across multiple time zones and maintain regular availability for virtual meetings from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM (PDT).
- Bonus: Previous experience in search technologies, e-commerce, or a leading technology company, and a record of using data-driven insights to drive business outcomes.
