Mitsui High-tec (Canada), Inc. is a Japanese automotive parts manufacturer in Brantford. We are expanding and growing and require Die Maintenance Technicians to join our team! There is huge potential for future growth due to our state of the art technology in the ever growing ecofriendly vehicles market. We are currently hiring for the following shifts:
Weekday 1st Shift (Monday to Thursday 6:00am - 4:30pm)
Weekday 2nd Shift (Monday to Thursday 6:00pm - 4:30am)
Weekend 1st Shift (Friday to Sunday 6:00am - 6:00pm)

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Performs die maintenance operations as instructed
  • Ensures compliance of tool/die maintenance schedule
  • Responsible for tooling inclusive of test tooling, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting
  • Identify problem areas, recommend, coordinate, and implement solutions
  • Collaborates with other departments to maintain the ISO quality systems
  • Other duties as required

Qualifications:

  • 1-2+ years’ manufacturing experience is preferred
  • Understanding and experience with ISO based quality systems
  • Sound knowledge of manufacturing engineering/tooling in all phases of manufactured parts
  • Previous experience with surface grinders
  • Attention to detail in all areas of work
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
