Senior Infrastructure Consultant at Affinity

On behalf of our public sector client, Affinity is looking for a Senior Infrastructure Consultant to serve as an impartial facilitator to lead a few in-person workshops in Prince George (last week of January or first week of February 2026) for selecting an integrated firewall solution (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco) that combines network/SD-WAN and security/segmentation requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Own and run a structured, auditable technology selection process for an integrated firewall platform, inclusive of SD-WAN and SASE considerations
• Facilitate alignment across network, infrastructure, and cybersecurity stakeholders
• Govern vendor interactions and evaluation activities objectively
• Produce decision-ready outputs for executive and procurement approval
• Translate requirements into evaluation criteria and scoring models
• Facilitate workshops, consensus sessions, and decision forums
• Orchestrate RFP/RFQ support, demos, scoring, and comparisons
• Synthesize findings into executive briefings and recommendations
  
  

Qualifications and experience:

• Proven experience leading enterprise security and/or network technology selections
• Working knowledge of next-generation firewall and integrated security platforms
• Demonstrated ability to operate as a neutral third party
• Experience in regulated or public-sector environments preferred
• Executive-level facilitation and communication skills
• Security architecture, infrastructure strategy, or enterprise technology advisory focus
• Track record of vendor-agnostic evaluation and decision support engagements
